Shropshire Salumi is a small company based to the north of Shrewsbury producing handmade Salumi the traditional way, priding themselves on the quality of ingredients, artisan methods and the nose to tail ethos.
All the pork we use is outdoor reared Gloucester Old Spot sourced within 2 miles of the premises, all spices are sourced from ethical suppliers and are of the finest quality and we use traditional casings for our products.

Wenlock Edge Farm
Wenlock Edge Farm are artisan producers of Award winning traditional dry-cured bacon and ham, sausages and charcuterie, mostly from our own livestock.
Their bacon has won Gold and the Best fresh product in Britain at the Great Taste Awards.
They produce over 10 delicious sausage varieties along with faggots, black pudding and fresh meat cuts.
The charcuterie range includes baked gammons, bresaola, salami, chorizo, prosciutto, pancetta and other cured specialities.

Fair View Fields
Fair View Field’s Radnor sheep graze on a diverse range of grasses and herbs, resulting in meat that is full of flavour.
They offer lamb, hogget, and mutton, all of which are perfect for a range of dishes. The sheep are raised on fields at Stapleton Hill, just outside Presteigne.
The meat is available to purchase direct from us for local delivery or at the Local to Ludlow Market, held on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month.
They also sell 100% Hill Radnor wool from their sheep. It’s available as balls for knitting or crocheting; skeins for knitting crocheting or dyeing; rovings for needle felting or hand spinning and raw fleece for peg loom weaving or hand carding and spinning.

James actively sources his game from a number of locations including the Shropshire and Staffordshire.
He single-handedly butchers and prepare a wide range of game steaks, sausages, burger, koftas and more. Catch him in his converted horsebox trailer stand on the square.
